On the 22nd of January, I wrote about one of my favorite beaches on the island, Jan Thiel. However, there are more beaches and great places on Curaçao. There is a boulevard not too far away from Jan Thiel, right next to the Sea Aquarium. Mambo Beach BLVD (Boulevard) is a wonderful place to visit any time of the week! There are numerous delicious restaurants to eat at, great stores to shop at, fun bars to drink at, wonderful activities within walking distance, and great tours that depart from this boulevard.
Mambo Beach
To me, primarily, Mambo Beach Curaçao is a beach. As a child we only went to Mambo to swim and growing up it was a place to go out at Wet and Wild. However, over the past few years, Mambo transformed into Mambo Beach, which is a 160-meter-wide beach with a variety of shopping, entertainment, and eating spots.
What makes Mambo Beach special compared to other beaches on the island is the fact that it is a child-friendly beach! With the wall of rocks breaking the rough waves on the island, the stretch of beach and waters are calm, with a soft current. Mambo Beach BLVD is a family-oriented place from its beach to its restaurants.
Restaurants and Shops
There are over 50 stores, restaurants and activities at Mambo Beach BLVD over the two levels, as well, there is also free parking! I am often at Mambo Beach BLVD, at least, twice a month! I love the atmosphere, the food, and the variety that is offered at Mambo. I often go to Greenhouse and Pizza Mare! Each has their own amazing atmosphere to offer. Greenhouse has every Monday and Thursday all you can eat Sushi for NAFL 35, you can for sure find me here at least once a month at beginning of the month! Let’s not forget the delicious Italian pasta and pizza at Pizza Mare that is irresistible, which I most likely eat way too much pizza off. Be sure to check out Bonita Beach Club every Friday and Sunday for Happy Hour. At all these places there is free Wifi!
