The City Walk in Otrobanda tour began at 4:30 p.m. at the Rif Fort in Willemstad. Here, our guide shared some information about the history and reason for the fort’s existence. More was also told about the Queen Emma Bridge and maritime activities. After the explanation, we walked a little further, where we were given a bottle of water to continue our journey to the beautiful Kura Hulanda Village. This beautiful, renovated area, which you can only discover if you know it, is a must-visit if you are in Otrobanda. It is very cozy with restaurants, stores, and a museum. Then we continued our way through the neighborhood, passing by beautiful murals and works of art. The tour ended around 7 p.m. at the charming Bario Hotel, where you could end the walk with a nice dinner and drink.
