On Saturday morning, we were picked up by our guide Max for the Jeep and Snorkel Adventure – East Tour. Once everyone was gathered, the tour began at 9 o’clock. We headed towards St. Joris Bay, where we ended up in a peaceful natural area with beautiful views via an off-road route. We continued our journey through Koraal Tabak via an off-road route, heading towards the rugged north side of the island. Max told us a lot about the cacti that grow here, the island’s history, and the surroundings. We had the chance to step out to take pictures of the splashing water and were given a cold bottle of water before continuing our journey towards the Aloe Vera plantation.
Arrived at the Aloe Vera plantation, we had the opportunity to take a walk and try and purchase a product made there. After the stop, we continued our journey toward Fort Beekenburg, and along the way, Max told us a lot about the island and showed us many things. At Fort Beekenburg, we
enjoyed a splendid view of the Spanish Water and the harbor. After taking the most beautiful photos on top of the fort, it was time to head to the last stop. We drove to Director’s Bay for a refreshing swimming stop. After the swim, it was time to head back to the hotels, looking back on a wonderful
day!
