Klein Curaçao is about 10 km southeast of Curaçao and acreage of only 1.7 km2. It is about 1.5 hours sailing. Sailing back often goes a lot smoother and faster because you sail with the wind. The island is uninhabited, flat with only a little vegetation.
In the middle of the island, there is a red lighthouse. The lighthouse that has been there since the beginning of the 19th century has been completely renovated in 2018 and now stands out beautifully. Although it is no longer in use, it is a beautiful mark on the island and you see the lighthouse on every picture of visiting tourists. The island is best known for its beautiful white sandy beach, crystal blue water, and beautiful snorkel and dive sites.
