Description
Hiking the Tafel Berg as the sunsets and at night is a must-do here in Curaçao. Take part in this weekly hike and discover a marvelous view. The schedule is coordinated in a certain way that the hikers reach the top of the Tafel Berg right before the sunset. Thereafter you enjoy the view at the Proa lookout point during the sunset. After the sun goes down, the hike goes on. The way back is not the same trail as the way up. When the time is right, the guide will ask the participants to put and turn on their headlamps.

Important information
- The hike lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours in total.
- The trail is 8.5 km / 5.3 miles long.
- Anyone who is healthy and not dealing with injuries can participate in this hike. Some sections of the hike are more challenging than others, as shown in the photos.
- There will be a total of three breaks for drinks.
Traveler tips
- Wear hiking shoes; if you don’t have those, bring old sneakers or other comfortable shoes that can get dirty.
- Dress in sporty clothing.
- It’s helpful to bring a water bottle for this activity.
- We recommend taking a small snack with you.
